DAMSTAFF is just a dog who makes some music... He started his musical journey in 1996 with a passion for hip-hop and writing songs for fun with his friends. He quickly became engrossed in rapping on instrumentals from the Wu Tang Clan, Cypress Hill, 2pac, and other hits of that time. With no internet, he recorded on tapes to share with friends and exchange them in "Walkman" (the ancestor of the Ipod). In 1999, he met the artistic association FAYA and began to professionalize his music from evening to morning. DAMSTAFF performed with other artists from various musical backgrounds such as reggaeman, rapper, live musician, singer, graffiti artist, dancer, stylist.... The association where he worked was a melting pot of neighborhood art and music.
