CarTear (Car-Tee-Aire) is an American rapper/producer from Cleveland, OH. He was raised in a single parent household, due to his father passing at a very young age. His mother was heavy into poetry and he would often find her writings around the home, which led to him taking interest and writing poems of his own. Those poems eventually became raps. CarTear injects motivation with his music along with his understanding of life from living in a city that is not always the most pleasant. CarTear draws influences from the likes of 2pac, Just Blaze, Kanye West, Nas, & Big Krit while also incorporating the catchiness of artists such as T-Pain & Andre3000. As a member of the production team Strayt Style (along with Chris J Allday) he released Over/Time (2018) which included "Sippin'" "Documented featuring Project Pat" "Downfall" and "For You." as well as co-producing and appearing on features "Fly as '95" "Poetry In Motion" & "Money Comin' In" from Chris J Allday's "ALLDAY" project (2018.) Constantly recording and trying new styles embodies what CarTear is all about, as many will see with his debut project "Benedictions."
