KYOYO is a Japanese rapper and house music producer based in Tokyo. KYOYO first stepped into the music scene in Tokyo when he started playing bass guitar and synth in bands. His playing style has been heavily influenced by jazz, deep house, Berlin techno and Japanese hip-hop, while he performs at clubs in Tokyo as a DJ. He combines elements from graphic design, Japanese manga, and novels, which had been part of his research topics in college, in his works to produce distinctive dance music. He released his debut single in 2018, released his second single in 2021, and the song "Like Tears In Rain", which he participated in as a rapper, was selected as a featured Hip Hop track on Apple Music.He has also been organizing events in Tokyo and actively contributing to the local music scene.
