Born in London, England, NICK HISSOM has been making music since he began writing songs in his college dormitory at 17. First working in the industry as a songwriter, he had his break as a featured vocalist on DJs Manufactured Superstars release "Killin' 2Nite". Following his time spent honing his craft in the LA EDM and POP scene, NICK released his debut single (prod. Mick Schultz) "IF I DIE YOUNG" in 2013, signing with manager Larry Rudolph shortly thereafter. NICK's self-written debut EP "LOVE ENERGY" (2015) (prod. Steve Morales) consisted of upbeat pop and EDM hybrid songs touching on themes of love and longing. With its electro-synths & catchy melodies, the EP earned him critical success within the industry. Later re-constructing his sound entirely, NICK began working on a new R&B influenced LP with influences from the Miami Hip-Hop scene. Featured artists on the LP were slated as Rick Ross, Bryson Tiller, and NICK's 2019 single "HE AIN'T BETTER" premiered featuring Haitian rapper Zoey Dollaz. "HE AIN'T BETTER" was met with commercial and critical success, charting at #42 on Pop and #46 on Rhythmic Airplay charts; however, NICK's LP was not released due to personal reasons... Fast forward to today, and NICK HISSOM’s back with a wave new songs! Honest and unapologetic about love, sexuality, boys, heartbreak, and his international lifestyle, NICK's new sound is unapologetic, unabashed - and, finally, here to stay!
