McLAREN started free-styling in the 5th grade in an attempt to imitate his favorite artists. It was his own weird way of showing love for their music. From there he gradually started writing his own lyrics. Part of what motivated him to do this was, before publicly syncing his voice into a rap, he didn’t really fit into the ‘coolest kid at school’ bracket so, he was at times made fun of by the other kids at school. “I’d like to think that I’m pretty nice with the pen (humble me😊) but I’ll be the first to acknowledge that I have so much more to learn from the greats!” he says. With that being said, he’s still learning the art of putting songs together and is quite pleased that YOU get to be a part of his journey during its early stages😁 Ps: If you read this far, I LOVE YOU😊 for tolerating my attempt at writing about me in 3rd-person:p I would summarize my sound as honest, at times comedic and my way of fighting back the bully!!!
