Biography

Carlos Capacho is a pioneer, innovative and talented Jazz musician with a vision to create a multi-bridge between countries and cultures trough of his music with a venezuelan roots which expands jazz in new direction and incorporate elements of world, folk, fusion, rock. In addition to these career highlights Capacho has played around the world over 20 countries (Asia, Africa, Europe, South America, North America.) and sharing stages with international artist as: Danilo Perez , Jhon Patitucci, George Garzone, Oscar Stagnaro, Paquito D’ Rivera, Simon Diaz, Aldemaro Romero, Ruben Blades, Danny Rivera, Pablo Zinger and others. Capacho is the first Cuatro player to graduate from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts (16’) and completed his Master Degree in Jazz Performance (20') from the Berklee College of Music and the Berklee Global Jazz Institute. Where he studied Jazz Composition and was selected to study Jazz Performance in the renowned Berklee Global Jazz Institute lead by the Artist Danilo Perez receiving personal mentoring during 3 years of legends as David Liebman, Joe Lovano, George Garzone, Antonio Sanchez, Adam Cruz, John Patitucci, Ben Street, Jerry Bergonzi, Terri Lyne Carrington, Allan Pasqua, Kenny Werner, Dave Douglas and others.
