Darrel, born Tadiwanashe Darrel Kuwana is a Zimbabwean artist bourn in Mutare. His love and gift of music is generational and was always in his veins, the torch was passed down from his Gospel Singing Mother Morline.S.S.Tsinakwadi. Glimpses of his talented started showing as he grew into his teens at the of 12 when he would make rap freestyles with his friends who were all in the school band except him. Not being a part of the band forced Darrel to lean towards using his voice as the instrument since he couldn’t play any. As time went on and Darrel started discovering his love and passion for music, he started visiting studios, learning and adapting his sound. He officially released his first studio single titled Fantasy Girl, late 2018, which quickly caught the ears of many in his high school career. He then released more music that turned more heads and brought more attention such as Reva (Samantha), Ndipinde, No Doubts which featured Kae Chaps, Reva - Remix which featured Garry Mapanzure and many more! Darrel has since been working on improving and perfecting his craft as he felt his sound was young and wanted to mature his lyrics and sound as a whole, all while making timeless and classic music, which he seems to be doing so well and efficiently at the moment. On the 30th of April 2023, he announced his come back with the single titled Dhiya, which has expressed his exact intentions, smooth, timeless and soothing music!
