X-Calibur is a multi-talented entertainer born Gary Everett Thomas, II on February 8, 1985 in Gary, Indiana, USA. However, his family moved to Atlanta, Georgia when he was only several months old. Soon after his younger brother was born, the family planted roots in Gwinnett County, which later became known as the Northside of Atlanta (or the “Nawfside”). At a young age, X-Calibur would eventually discover that he was a skilled illustrator, poet, and a lyrical genius. His talents are displayed in a multitude of ways across many genres, as X-Calibur does not define himself simply as a rapper or rap artist. X-Calibur claims that Hip Hop is certainly a huge influence in his life and his music, but it is the art of creating music, working with various creative minds and mixing unique styles/sounds that he is really passionate about.
