Before landing the iconic role of Scarlett O'Connor on the ABC/CMT/HULU TV series NASHVILLE, launching her career as a singer/songwriter, Clare Bowen was growing up in rural Australia. Bowen heard her first broadcast of the Grand Ole Opry on the wireless in her grandad’s kitchen. Soon after, her classical vocal coach paused one of their lessons to comment on the "country lilt" that had naturally crept into Bowen's voice. It would be another decade before she'd duet with heavyweights like Zac Brown and Vince Gill, recording songs with GRAMMY-winning producers like T Bone Burnett and Buddy Miller, but those early experiences were already pushing Bowen toward Nashville. Nashville Cast ran for six seasons with 20+ soundtracks, selling over one million album units and over five million single-song downloads to date. The cast continues to reunite for live tours. In 2018, Bowen, along with her singer/songwriter husband, Brandon Robert Young, secured a coveted spot on Sugarland's ‘Still the Same Tour’, the band’s first in over a decade. She then set out on a headline tour upon the international release of her eponymous album, selling out across the UK, Germany, and Australia. The album made its highly anticipated global debut in Summer, 2019. In 2020, Clare & Brandon formed Cinematic Americana duo BOWEN YOUNG, opening for Billy Joel at BST Hyde Park, followed by sold out shows across the globe. BOWEN * YOUNG’s debut album, produced by Sean McConnell is available May 3, 2024.
