Influenced by jazz and classical as well as electronic, Wes Steed and Jeannette Faith cast aside their previous projects (Steed with garage band the Gamma Rays, and Faith as a pianist) to form the synthesizer-based duo Park Avenue Music. Their background brings an inventive approach to indie pop, evident on To Take With You, the band's debut released in March 2002.
