Biography

The pianist Carolin Danner has made it her trademark to devise extraordinary musical agendas, which she then brings to life with her expressive interpretations. She has already successfully blazed this path with her first two solo CDs “Spanish Impressions” and “Kontrastprogramm”, which were honored as CD tip by the Hessian Radio, garnering excellent reviews in renowned media such as Fonoforum, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Pianonews, neue musikzeitung and Deutschlandradio Kultur. Carolin Danner performs both as a soloist and chamber musician in renowned concert halls such as the Liederhalle Stuttgart, the Stadthalle Heidelberg or the Allerheiligen Hofkirche in Munich and as a soloist with orchestras like the Philharmonie Südwestfalen and the philharmonic orchestra Budweis. Carolin Danner finished her piano studies with a master class diploma and has been awarded numerous scholarships and prizes at international piano competitions. She has been leading the Schlosskonzerte Blutenburg in Munich as artistic director since 2020. In addition, Carolin Danner is dedicated to furthering children’s musical education, for example by developing a children’s concert for elementary schools that won support from the federal program “Neustart Kultur”. Carolin Danner is also a juror for international music competitions and she teaches a piano class at the Leopold Mozart Center of the University of Augsburg. www.carolin-danner.de
