Contemporary R&B singer and songwriter Lea, born Taylor Ashlee Curry in Chesapeake, Virginia in 1997, she was raised in Baltimore, Maryland, where she grew a love for music and the arts. While attending college, friends encouraged her to start recording on the side. In 2016 she would she would have a successful meeting with Suena Republic, home to VybeSoul. The budding relationship would propel her career to the next level. Inspired by the likes of Sade, Toni Braxton, K. Michelle, and Aaliyah (who inspired her stage name), in 2018 Curry self-released her single 'This Ain't Love'.
