As a native of Newport News, Virginia and now a resident of the greater Seattle area Emanuel draws inspiration from experiences while growing up there. In a career and genre where authenticity is vital to success, E. Brown's sound is an embodiment and personification of the late 90's and early 2000's Hip Hop, R&B, and Neo-Soul sound which is entwined with new-age intensity, uniqueness, rawness. To put a couple names to the sounds he creates he resembles Big K.R.I.T, Anderson Paak, J. Cole, Big Sean, Snoop Dogg & LL Cool J. E. Brown has been fortunate to work with well respected artists in the industry such as multi platinum producer DJ Pain 1 when they came together in 2019 on "Friend or Foe 2019" with artist Fresh C. Emanuel is always looking to improve his skill set as a lyricist and singer and he has dropped two albums, four EP's and a slew of singles to show his commitment to his craft. In 2021 Emanuel was fortunate enough to chart four times on the iTunes Charts in Japan & Africa for various songs.
