Mark Brathwaite is a hip-hop artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. He founded the boutique label MCB Music, & opened for Machine Gun Kelly's 2013 tour (705 Crew). He also founded collabuniverse.com -- His production credits include Troy Ave "Chiddy Chiddy Bang Bang", MGK's "50" featuring French Montana, Kardinal Offishall's Reppin' for my city featuring Wizkid and SonReal's For The Town which he co-produced with the illustrious duo Burd & Keyz. His first single "On The Rise" features Columbia Records artist Coleman Hell from the Sideways8 collective. His debut album Phoenix was co-produced by Xitmuse & Kuhl Muzik which also features Maccie. This was followed up by a more aggressive mixtape dubbed "On Time". Live performance highlights include headlining Canadian Music Week (2015), his own Phoenix tour which included Public Mobile Fest, the TD Canada Jazz Fest (2017) and opening for The Trews at "Festival of Friends" (2019). In 2020 he released his 4-track EP "Overcomers" featuring Sweet Soul By Rae. In 2021, he signed a publishing deal with Beatstars x Sony ATV. He also sat on the Indie Week producer panel, collaborated with Rick Ross on affiliate product sales (RichByRickRoss), & produced, mixed and mastered R&B star Dee Devan's latest single "Heartbreak In A Bottle".
