Born and raised in PG County, MD, Jaylin began playing piano and writing songs when he was 14, beginning with and exploring sonics with textures and colors. R&B is where Jaylin's influences take shape. Pulling inspiration from older R&B singers such as Jill Scott, Brandy, John Legend, and SWV…Artist his mother would play around the house; has shaped this texture of his sound. Later finding love for composition and arrangements, Jaylin picked up production and more instruments to further assist his musical endeavors. Jaylin currently residing in the Washington D.C. area, is a writer self producer, arranger and engineer.
