From Northwich in Cheshire, James Grierson is a British singer, songwriter, musician and record producer. Whilst currently associated with experimental triphop project, ‘driftbox’. James has since embarked on a personal journey in frequency filled isolation in order to create a personal sound which further explores the intimate landscapes of the ambient and mellow, whilst inadvertently returning to his roots by veering well into the realms of dance, EDM and down-tempo electronic music. James’ music provokes inner thought, observational awareness and understanding of the world around us. He presents this in the sonic realms of the ambient wave, with nothing more than the simple wish of creative legacy.
