Koen Herfst, one of Holland's best drummers, presents his alias DRUMLUST since 2020. With DRUMLUST Koen is always looking for the endless possibilities of electronic dance music mixed with his signature drum sounds. The emergence of DRUMLUST comes from the many touring Koen did together with DJ Armin van Buuren. Here he discovered his love for electronic music and the combination with live drums. Since DRUMLUST started in 2020, Koen already released a few tracks such as the drum ‘n bass track ‘Mixtape’ and the EDM tracks ‘Want To Play My Drums’ & 'Satisfier'. Next to releasing new DRUMLUST music Koen also gives live solo shows. With his drums he directs the visuals and lights live. With this live act he, amongst other shows, opened the last edition of the prestigious festival TodaysArt in The Hague, in the Netherlands. The upcoming year has a lot to offer such as new DRUMLUST releases and, as soon as it’s possible again, the much promising and energetic DRUMLUST live shows will return again!
