In late 2017, she transitioned from hobbyist to professional, collaborating with rapper Alex Russell and releasing singles that resonated with listeners. Driven by a desire to connect through music, Lex's EP "Love Ties" explored themes of love and heartbreak. She went solo in 2019, broadening her musical horizons by delving into EDM and punk rock alongside her R&B roots.
