Ingebjørg Lognvik Reinholdt is a versatile folk singer, known for her warm sound, folk singing style and storytelling. Ingebjørg Lognvik Reinholdt is a traditional singer from Seljord in Telemark. While other kids listened to Spice Girls and danced to Scatman, Ingebjørg walked up to Ragnar Haugstøl’s house and learnt old songs from the rich tradition in Seljord and the Telemark region. Since then, she has been a performing artist with her solo performance, and several bands and stage performances. She is influenced by folk singers Agnes Buen Garnås, Øyonn Groven Myhren and Unni Løvlid. Currently, she is part of the Scottish-norwegian folk band Reitir, with Scottish fiddler Sarah-Jane Summers, folk singer Aasmund Nordstoga, guitarist Juhani Silvola and bass player Morten Kvam. She is also part of the experimental vocal trio AUROM and the Christmas band Jul I Nord.
