Australian based Nik Alevizos’s sound can be described as Progressive and Melodic House while also featuring shades of several other influences with releases on Armada Music, PRGRSSN, Sekora Music and Enormous Tunes. "I'm obsessed with music , I always have been from as early as I can remember. I've had some great adventures with it and it's also helped me get through some tough times. For me music is the universal language that connects us all . It taps into our primitive circuits and evokes a very primal response. It can take you back to a time, a place or out of yourself . Having a deep emotional connection to something you can't even define.. you're just transported by the music" I struggle to answer when asked "what genre of music do you produce?" I like to think of each production as "A feeling" rather than what's its genre. I like to blend genres depending on what I'm feeling at the time, sometimes to create a stirring and uplifting sound or just something a little more fun to get your groove on . My influences are broad and eclectic, I draw ideas from film, music I listened to during my formative years from the 80s synthpop movement, 90s house and trance era, right up until today's deep progressive house you will find something reminiscent from another era in each production.
