Spreading positivity around the world with music as diverse as the people who live in it!!! Born Michael ``Mikey” Bost, Dredlok believes that music is the key to bringing people together. His eclectic approach to electronic bass music is influenced by his experience as a fan of many different genres. Legends such as Bob Marley, Dr. Dre, Daft Punk and Metallica are some of his original creative inspirations, while artists such as Griz, Clozee, Jantsen, TVBOO, and Liquid Stranger have more directly impacted the development of his signature sound. Dredlok’s live performances are made up of 100% original music or remixes that he made. Every set is curated from scratch with a different approach for each audience. A combination of eccentric beats, live instruments, and recognizable samples makes the experience unforgettable. In addition to showcasing an incredibly diverse skill set, Dredlok’s energy on stage is unmatched. He truly loves every moment of his performances, and he shows it by smiling, dancing, jumping around, and shaking his dreadlocks. It’s important to him that a real connection is made with the crowd, and that they can see him as being a fellow fan of the music first and foremost. Mikey has recently finished studying Music Production and Sound Engineering at a University in London, and is now living in Denver, Colorado.
