Born in Modesto, California, Dionysos grew up back and forth between California and Georgia. This exposed him to the distinct style of the ‘Dirty South' hip hop and the laid back style of West Coast rap. As a teenager Dionysos was also strongly influenced by Tupac Shakur. His choice of college (Kent State in Ohio) was influenced by his favorite hip hop group from Cleveland, Ohio called Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. After graduating, he moved to Japan where he has been living for 18 years. Tokyo is where his style really developed by combining his love of science, philosophy, metaphysics and music to form an ultra unique style that stems from Rap, Hip Hop, and R&B. In fact, this style is so unique that it is in it‘s own genre which he has dubbed 'Tomorrow Music'.
