Ashantii Phillips, preferably known as SmokeDawwg is what we call a jack of all trades. Not only can he make his flow match just about any beat, but he's also naturally talented in all things music. Which shouldn't be a surprise considering his deep-seated love for it. He has never known a time before music and has always been passionate about it since birth. However, he will never forget the first artist he truly felt inspiration from, MC Skatcat. That was the first album he'd ever bought. His pursuit of music and crafting his own form of expression was decided purely because he loves it. His style is best described as a wild card, you never know what kind of style and beats you'll get when tuning in to his songs but they all have an underlining feel of unfiltered raw energy. While he also writes and produces on the side, outside of his craft he is a hardworking provider, a loving husband, and an attentive father who is doing everything he can to make sure his family is taken care of and kept safe. And if music is his world, then his family is his universe. There's little to nothing he wouldn't do for those he loves. His biggest inspiration that drives him to pursue his passion is his children. They are his #1 reason for his drive and passions. He wants to create a better future for them so they won't have to go through half of the things he did in youth, stating, "Just having them in a better situation creates better situations for them."
