ELENI (Eleni Arapoglou) comes from Athens, Greece. Born in London, UK, she grew up in Athens, and is currently based in Brooklyn, NY. Her theatre, dance and music studies both at Tuts University & Berklee College of Music have inspired ELENI to work in interdisciplinary projects, while performing in various groups in the style of jazz, world and soul music. Currently preparing her debut album! ELENI also teaches vocal improvisation, bringing movement and the voice together, with her method BodySong which she has been developing since her years studying and teaching with Bobby McFerrin, Rhiannon, Joey Blake, and more. ELENI believes music can be a source for healing, as well as entertainment both in performance and educational contexts.
