Creating a soundtrack to life, Oshay the Villain, is an Alternative, Hip-Hop and R&B, Artist and Songwriter, who makes music to reflect his past experiences and string a chord of emotions relatable to his fans. Hailing from Harlem, raised in the Bronx, he comes from a pure cultural lineage of Hip-Hop. With the influence of his father working in the music industry, he began playing the violin and mixing beats at the young age of 7. Oshay’s music mirrors a lifestyle of perseverance with elements of synthesized melodies and emo rap. In 2018 he introduced his artistry and released his debut mixtape “Battle Born”. “I feel like I’m the underdog and it’s time for people to wake up.” For him making music is a cathartic way to communicate, in which he only talks back when you press play. Oshay’s message in his music, is to understand that in life, everyone is a villain to someone, so you might as well live how you want.
