zyyn is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer from Danville, Kentucky, currently based in Nashville. In 2017, he debuted his first song “Riot” as an instant success landing on the Martin Garrix “Songs I Love” playlist. Then in the same year, zyyn wrote Sam Gouthro’s best performing song to date “Down for This” In 2018, zyyn released a series of singles including the Matt Burton collab “situations” which remains zyyn’s top streaming song on Spotify. In the latter half of 2018, zyyn moved from Nashville to Los Angeles and wrote and released his first EP “Mojave” in a week’s time. This EP, produced by Mark Hoppus of blink-182 signee Bardo of “Beauty School Dropout,” accrued over 1 million streams across DSP’s. Then in 2019, zyyn was attributed to featuring and writing country sensation Dasha’s song “Heart On Hold (feat. zyyn)” After moving away from Los Angeles in 2019, zyyn shifted away from artistry toward writing and producing country music. zyyn now resides in Nashville, Tennessee and produces and writes music under the name “Chris” for top country labels Big Loud, Warner Chappell, Demolition, Prescription, and the like.
