Japanese Musician | Artist | Bassplayer | Singer | Songwriter "Kiyoshi" is her nickname. She started playing the piano when she was a little girl, and the first time she played the bass was at the age of 15. In addition to her own musical activities, she supports multiple musicians both in Japan and abroad, including B'z, Marty Friedman, Juichi Morishige/ZIGGY, and Kenji Hayashida. She has participated in numerous tours and recording sessions. In Sep 2016, she released her first album, "KIYOSHI," marking the start of her solo career in earnest. Her songs are primarily created through multi-track recording of bass, with Kiyoshi playing all parts herself except for the live drums. She oversees every aspect of her work, including music composition, lyric writing, arrangement, performance, singing, and involvement in design and video production. Kiyoshi mainly uses 5-string basses. Her performance technique and original style, especially her powerful slaps, are highly praised by many musicians. She has a bold performance style and a commanding stage presence that is unparalleled. She also possesses deep knowledge of equipment, owing to her experience as a lecturer at a guitar craft school.
