His distinct aesthetic combining ambience and minimalism with detailed and textured production is a focus of every release, emanating honesty and emotion from every sound. Despite growing up in a small town in England, Symmol gets his inspiration from a diverse range of artists from every corner of the music world, from the atmospheric, raw and emotional sounds of Daughter and Crywolf, to the detailed and technical production of Mr. Bill and KOAN Sound, all the way into the lush and ambient soundscapes of Subheim and Hecq. With a catalogue now including multiple releases on Mr. Bill's Billegal Beats imprint, Symmol has released 7 EPs and multiple remixes, each exploring a unique sonic realm and telling its own, distinct story.
