Leandro Marziotte won the first prize at the International Händel Competition 2014 in Göttingen. He has been also finalist at the First International Countertenor Competition in Lugano in 2011. He holds a Master’s degree in Baroque Singing “cum laude” from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and a Bachelor’s degree in Singing “summa cum laude” from the Conservatory of Strasbourg. He has performed in different opera productions as Gluck’s ‘Orfeo ed Euridice’ (Orfeo); as well as in ‘Serse’ (Arsamene), ‘Orlando’ (Orlando), ‘Agrippina’ (Ottone), ‘Jephtha’ (Hamor), ‘Brockes Passion’ (Judas), ‘Deborah’ (Barak), ‘Rodrigo’ (Fernando) by Handel; Purcell’s ‘Dido and Aeneas’ (Sorceress); Monteverdi’s ‘Orfeo’ (Pastore and Speranza); Britten’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ (Oberon), among others. He has sung at several important theatres throughout Europe as well as at Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, Teatro Municipal de Rio de Janeiro, Sala São Paulo, Teatro Solis in Montevideo, Simon Bolivar Amphitheatre in Mexico City, Teatro Mario Laserna in Bogotá, Pushkin Palace in St. Petersburg and the Maison Symphonique of Montréal.
