Shazmicsoul is a versatile producer and DJ hailing from Daveyton, a town in the south of Johannesburg. He embarked on his musical journey in 2011, initially as a Trap-Soul producer, before expanding his repertoire to encompass various genres. Known for his soulful production, Shazmicsoul has made a name for himself in the South African club scene, performing at renowned venues in Gauteng and across the country. His music has gained recognition through popular playlists such as Made In South Africa, AmaPiano Grooves, New Music Friday Africa & USA, Dance Rising, and New Music Friday Dance. Collaborating with esteemed record labels like Warner Music, Zikode Records (Universal Music Africa), and Africori, Shazmicsoul has worked alongside notable artists including : DBN Gogo, DJ Stokie, Mr JazziQ, Tyler ICU, Yumbs, King Deetoy , Oscar Mbo, and Artwork Sounds, who are leading figures in the new school amapiano & dance music movement. Continuing to establish his presence in the dance music scene, Shazmicsoul actively collaborates with both established and emerging artists within the African dance music landscape.
