Born in Manila, Philippines, Tina Carzon is a Washington, D.C. multifaceted artist and singer-songwriter, who grew up in a musically inclined environment. Recently based in Maryland, they are self-taught in guitar and piano growing up from their parents’ influence. Inspired by artists such as Sade, Enya, Gal Costa, Astrud Gilberto, their style of music is ever changing with a blend of alternative and contemporary R&B, neo-soul, and bossanova. Their unique sound moves listeners in a trance of their choice with Tina's genre-bending artistry. Tina aims to create music that heals through storytelling and personal and interpersonal experiences. Tina first made their fan base through Bandcamp and Soundcloud by releasing their first EP "As I Reminisce." Later on, Tina began producing their music from scratch, writing every piece of music, and released their first single "Healing" on July 1, 2018 on all streaming platforms. On April 1, 2019, "To Be Continued" was released and is Tina's first self-composed, written, and produced album with Nicolas Laget, Leif, and Robbie Mcdonald, which is available on all streaming platforms. Tina has opened for artists such as Ben&Ben, Beau Young Prince, Jay R, Jackintheway, and Nalani & Sarina. Tina is a member of musical collective and independent label, WRIZZARDS, featured on popular media outlets such as Billboard PH, Washington City Paper, Washington Post, EARMILK, MYX Radio, Beat This PH, DC News Now/DCW50, and more.
