Better known under the stage name, Arm$, Andrew Ryan Marcotte is an American lyricist hailing from the Great Plains of South Dakota. From personal lyrics to energetic anthems, Arm$ combines his voice, stories, and beat selection in order to convey the emotions he shares with his listeners. His discography can be categorized into various Hip-Hop subgenres; however, his relatable and energetic lyrical content remains consistent. 
 Emerging from the thundering 808s of the 2010’s trap scene, Arm$ credits his influences—both in lyrical content and delivery—to some of the great Hip-Hop MCs like Joey Bada$$, Logic, and Joyner Lucas. Arm$ ties in the personal, conscious bars of his influences with his own struggles into his music. His earlier years as a writer/rapper stemmed from heavy emotions, but in recent months, alongside the success of his newest single, Face Up, Arm$ has introduced his new-found confidence into his hooks and verses.
