Biography

Ego Absence is a way to spread motivation and express the deepest feelings of the human being into music. The band style is defined as a Modern Power Metal, containing the classic characteristics of this style added to the influence of the modern metal. The band headed by the lead singer Raphael Dantas (Soulspell, Gates of Paris) started the job with a primary formation in 2016 with the single “I Am Free”, getting an amazing feedback from the audience. Starting a new formation with the guitar player Guto Gabrelon joining the band, the singles “On The Run” and “Let It Burn” were released. This last one announcing the album “Serpent’s Tongue”, released in February 2020 in digital and physical format with the distribution in Japan. Nowadays, beyond Raphael and Guto, Ego Absence is composed by Augusto Bordini (drums) and André Fernandes (bass), a formation that can be seen in the official video of the music G.O.D., recorded at the releasing concert (March/2020).
