The exceptionally honest and dream-like creations of Iiris Viljanen have paved way for both her Swedish Grammy-winning album ‘Den lilla havsfrun’ and her role in the play ‘Det vilda’ at Orionteatern. Iiris is a pianist, singer and composer, born in 1988 in Korsholm, Finland, now located in Stockholm. Her unique way of making music has solidified a place both in the heart of Sweden and in her native Finland. Since 2016, she has released four solo albums and collaborated with numerous fellow musicians and actors. Her artistic journey extends beyond her albums, as she has ventured into diverse musical territories, crafting compositions also for television and radio. Furthermore, Iiris has orchestrated a critically acclaimed live show, 'A Finnish Christmas', which has toured in Scandinavia three years in a row. The 26th of April 2024 her fifth solo album 'Själsligt uppvaknande vid Slussen' will be released.
