cobeau - Jeanelle Mitchell - is a self taught music producer whose music blends and bends different genres together. Some of her favorite genres to work with are r&b, future bass, jazz, and wave. Mitchell's musical personality was heavily influenced by how she grew up. She is a first generation American, with both of her parents coming from Trinidad & Tobago. Having that link to Trinidad, she was very fortunate to be able to travel to many places and experience different cultures from a young age. She attributes these experiences to how her sound can be so genre fluid. Her inspirations may come from different genres/experiences, but her songs all have a distinct sound that is cobeau, which consist of dark textures and imaginative melody lines. With a devotion to learning about sound, the producer aims to push herself with each release, while growing herself as an artist. ✷ ☽ ✷
