With one EP, one mixtape, one album, and countless singles under his name, Primere continues to release thought-provoking music for the everyman while trying to reach the next level in his career. Born in the San Fernando Valley, Primere was raised by immigrant parents in Sunland-Tujunga, California. He was influenced by his older brother’s love of Hip-Hop to pursue a career in the popular genre. His musical influences include rappers like Self Provoked, J. Cole, and Phora. Primere uploaded his first song to SoundCloud and YouTube in January 2016 when he was a high school freshman. Since then, he has consistently released music in hopes to inspire the youth in his hometown. In his latest album, Take It from Me, Primere takes the listener through a journey of his struggles as an upcoming artist. He touches on topics such as fear, sacrifice, and even physical health issues caused by his dedication to making music. Primere's devoted fans have new music to look forward to in 2020 as he has officially begun the rollout for his next album with his single "With Time," as he looks to continue his tradition of releasing a new project every year.
