Harris Owens is a composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist based in New York, NY. With experience producing across multiple genres, Owens often integrates elements of classical, electronic, and pop. You’re likely to encounter pianos run through ping-pong delays, symphonies against electronic drums, and sub basses that side-chain to timpani hits while listening through his catalog. Conversations marked Owens’ debut across DSPs. The track features dueling violins atop cinematic drums, ambient synthesizers, and a grand piano that surrounds the entire arrangement. Later that year, Owens released Blood On My Hands with Michael McQuaid, which brought attention to his releases. Drawing inspiration from the James Bond films, the track incorporates rock and orchestral instrumentation beneath McQuaid's powerful vocal performance. More recently, Owens released the peaceful piano piece, Drift. The minimalistic track acted as the first single to his cinematic EP, Stratus, scheduled to release in June of 2023. After graduating from Belmont University in Nashville, TN with a degree in Music Business (AoE: Production), Owens launched his career composing custom scores for music libraries and eventually began licensing music from his own artist catalog for use in film/TV. His music can be heard on networks such as NBCUniversal, MTV, Netflix, The CW, and CBS.
