SOFIA HOFFMANN's first single of her new upcoming album is OUT! [In]LOVE is the result of the artist's dedication to original themes, this time under the guidance of the music veteran IVAN LINS, who not only produced Hoffmann's new album but also participates in it. This collection speaks to your heart about the different shades which Love may assume - the self-love, the romantic love, the universal love. . Sofia Hofmann is a Portuguese-German artist, based in Lisbon, Portugal. Early on she studied acoustic guitar, had vocal training and began writing her own songs. She later stepped into jazz, studying with Laura Fedele and singer Maria João, and working on a standards repertoire with Nuno Tavares. In 2014, Sofia met her Indian classical music Teacher, Acharya Roop Verma, who deeply impacted her development as a musician and as a person.  After her guru's passing, Sofia composed songs inspired by her trips to India. These were part of her 2019 debut album One Soul, where Sofia performs with some of the best Portuguese jazz musicians. Sofia developed her sitar skills and Indian classical vocal style with GRAMMY® nominee Gaurav Mazumdar, and presently studies sitar with Arjun Verma. During the lockdown in 2020 Sofia wrote “Esperarei”, released in 2021. GRAMMY® Award Winner John Beasley produced and arranged the theme. Esperarei directed the approach to her upcoming 2022 studio album.
