Independent American based rapper Devious, aka Dan Wright, resides in the suburbs outside Nashville, Tennessee. Coming on every track with raw motivation and passion, Devious gives everything he has on every song, and it shows in the music. His catalog contains a variety of deep songs, spitting about his real life, whether it’s a dark track or a track people can jump to. However, he can also show off his rhyming skills, along with double-time flows, on any party track. Devious was first introduced to rap in 7th grade, when kids in class were spitting lines from Eminem’s new single “Rap God.” He went home that night and looked it up, and instantly fell in love with rap. By the time he hit 9th grade, he felt ready to start releasing music, and after doing all but succeed the entire year, he was going to give it up. However, he made the choice to give it one more go in 10th grade. He released an EP, and even though it was awful, he was finally hearing people tell him he had potential, which gave him the fire to work even harder than he was. What followed was a lost collection of singles, and another EP all leading up to his debut on every streaming service with his first true song, “Still Me.” Some of his inspirations are Tech N9ne, Rittz, Token, Hyde, Merkules, Chris Webby, and Futuristic
