Qori, an upcoming malay artist from Kuala Lumpur took inspiration of pursuing his music career from his elder brother known as Al-Z from the young age of 7 years old when he first saw the beautiful and formidable culture of hip-hop back in 2007 on a competition entitled “Blast-Off”. Now at the age of 24, Qori takes inspiration to create music with aspirations from A$AP Rocky, Travis Scott, Don Toliver and other Hip-hop artist both international and local, he forms his own unique take on his craft by utilising his fluency on the malay and english language. Qori is an independent artist working closely with other talents from South East Asia to bring his own unique colour to the culture of Hip-Hop in Malaysia.
