Fat Trophy Wife, (Trophy) grew-up in the corn fields of Ohio where she found it difficult to relate to the people she was surrounded by and turned to music to help her understand and process what she was experiencing. She began persuing music in 2016 when living in Fairbanks Alaska, she started producing beats & rapping over them which lead to her first single, ‘Goin Up’ in 2017. Around this time she met fellow producer & vocalist AK Dubby & the two produced several tracks and videos together over the next couple years. In 2019 Trophy dropped a collaborative EP with Dgutta912 & has released several singles & features since with artists such as Mz. Bossy , Ibelit , SIXSTAR & Eleven the Artist In 2020 Trophy won female hip-hop artist of the year at the Alaska Hip-Hop & RnB awards. In the summer of 2021, she posted a video of her being escorted off an Alaskan Airlines flight by police after a flight attendant harassed her for being plus size & wearing a crop top. The video has since been viewed nearly 10 million times on her tiktok. Trophy then released single Club 49 in response to the situation with a video to follow. In the summer of 2023, Trophy introduced the first all female tour in Alaska ‘Baddies with Bars’ which included rappers, singers & comics alike. The tour started in Anchorage & went to Fairbanks, Seward, Soldotna, Homer & Palmer. She toured with artists Stevie the Blessed & Jess Icebox as well as comics Sabrina Speers & Goldie Gold.
