Downbeat Syndicate is a Reggae duo born in early 2020, formed by: Leo Di Angilla and Valter Vincenti. Leo Di Angilla, is a professional drummer, percussionist and composer for over 20 years. He has spent the last 10 years working with the Italian pop star Jovanotti and throughout his career has performed with Mike Patton and several other international stars. Valter Vincenti is the current guitarist of Shengen Clan, the legendary Alborosie’s band. He is founder and owner of One More Dub Studio. Inspired by mighty drum and bass duo Sly and Robbie, the purpose of the two musicians is to highlight and celebrate reggae and dub music roots and culture, featuring several international artists singing in Jamaican patois, as well as creating masterful quintessential reggae instrumentals.
