A’Lisa B. (Born June 18) is an American singer-songwriter and recording artist. Known for being the former lead female vocalist of the 90s Pop/R&B/Reggae group Max-A-Million, she has done a lot of work behind the scenes, as a background vocalist, vocal producer and writer of several classic Latin Freestyle songs (Including Praying For An Angel for Rochelle, In My Heart for Isaac, Angelina for Julio of the group LAW, and Slipping Through My Hands for TKA) Her influences include Michael and Janet Jackson, Prince, Aaliyah, Gloria Estefan, Selena Quintanilla, Luis Miguel, and Daddy Yankee. With the group Max-A-Million she received several gold and platinum plaques and was honored with two top awards at the 16th Annual Chicago Music Awards for "Pop Recording Artist/Group of the Year" and "Best Reggae Album/CD of the Year. While also receiving several nominations at the 16th Annual Reggae and World Music Awards including "Best Crossover Song" for "Sexual Healing", and “Best Music Video" for "Take Your Time”, another platinum hit. A’Lisa has had solo success with her iTunes Top 200 Dance Chart hits “Memories of Love”- #4 and “Monster”- #5 consecutively. She’s also enjoying the success of her latest release “Dark Place”, with over three million streams on Spotify. And the first release from her own recording label Verse312, “Mona Lisa” by Coro is available on all digital platforms.
