The name Kebba means leader in a West African dialect called Wolof. Since that is what he is, this Harlem native felt no need to use a moniker to represent himself in the music industry. Although he made his name running the party scene and hustling while attending Temple University, it was during this time that Kebba realized that hip-hop was his means for true self-expression. Kebba has since released ten projects entitled “M Y World”, “1158”, “MKS”, “@iamkebba, the Mixtape”, “The dearwhitepeople Mixtape”, “The Sample Plate EP”, "Junk Food and Veggies", "The MKS EP", “The Lost Weeks” and "The Stuff Legends Are Made Of" - selling units in the U.S. and overseas. With a firm understanding that music is food for thought, Kebba has coined his brand of music ‘Junk Food and Veggies’ because he is giving the world music that they want and need. With his witty wordplay and innovative lyrics, his gift to the music industry doesn’t rely on where he’s from, the fact that he went to college, or that he hustled. His brilliance lies is in his ability to, through music, fuse his life experiences with sincere unrivaled originality, connecting with all listeners. No media hype or gimmicks, he’s raw and uncut...he’s simply Kebba.
