ONO August is an R&B performer from South Los Angeles, California. ONO August credits his mother, gospel singer Kim Shelby, as his inspiration and the basis for his love and enthusiasm for music. Prior to music, ONO August’s passion was basketball. He recently put down his basketball and picked up his pen to begin writing music. Even though ONO August was rooted and raised in gospel music, he has let all genres of music affect his musical style. He founded his own music collective, The ONO Familli LLC, because he is all about family.
