Aaron Zuniga, better known by his stage name Zuni, was born in San Diego and raised in Tijuana, Baja California. From an early age, Zuni was drawn to music, inspired by his father who is also a musician. He started playing the guitar, piano, and drums, and quickly developed a passion for creating and performing music. Zuni's early musical influences include Carlos Santana, Gipsy Kings, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, among others. As he grew older, he began to explore electronic music, and decided to pursue a career as an artist. He enrolled in Icon Collective in Los Angeles, where he studied digital music production and honed his skills as a producer. Today, Zuni is at the dawn of his music career, having recently signed with Sunset Gathering & Union Records. He is known for his unique blend of Afro and Latin House characterized by irresistible grooves, organic percussions, driving bass lines, and live instrumentation. His music is a reflection of his multicultural upbringing, fusing together elements of his Mexican heritage with modern electronic sounds.
