Deception is a Jamaican/American alternative artist, based in Pennsylvania. He began making music in 2018. The sound is based in rap, but what influences him to sound how he does is a deep love of the following genres - Rock, R&B, Reggae, and Nu-metal. High energy, frantic vocals in one pocket, while moody hymns and even moodier lyrics are in the other. Deception is a hungry study of the new generation, and a unique blend of what he is inspired by. He is also a member of the collective FEAR NOTHING, cultivated by Inwood’s Ghost, Smoke Bomb, and Deception himself.
