Biography

A songwriter and storyteller from Essex, 25-year old Harry Mold has already made his mark as a dynamic contributor to the UK indie/punk scene. From combining the classic sounds of indie rock with soulful vocals to incorporating classic guitar riffs into underground drum and bass, Harry’s dynamic crossing of genres marries the art of storytelling with gritty textures and melodies to create a unique yet nostalgic listening experience. Harry connects with his fast-growing audience through taking inspiration from his own life: he explores themes of generational unrest and creative fatigue through a mastery of lyricism and instrumentals that balances his vulnerability with a triumphant sense of togetherness.
Alongside finding popularity on BBC Introducing Essex, Harry’s ever-evolving catalogue of music is immediately sold through his undeniably energetic and infectious stage presence, amplifying the impact of his explosive choruses. He finished 2022 with his first ever sold out show at esteemed venue Old Blue Last in shoreditch and will be coming back to headline at the Lexington in April. Comparing his collaboration with garage DJ Artful Dodger “Vanity” to the classic rock roots of “Dogbone,” Harry’s genre-defying approach to music will continue to expand, and fail to be contained.
