Born on the 29th of April 2004, All-caps-shaun (SHAUN) is a producer, and artist from Vosloorus, South Africa. He began making hip-hop beats in 2017 under the guidance of his older brother, Calvin Abstrxct. In the same year, he began collaborating with Iton Milton on tracks that have since been lost. "A rather ugly brother with flows that's gorgeous." - MF DOOM. To develop his artistry, SHAUN would record freestyles over his beats, using his brother's laptop, mostly imitating his favourite artists, and experimenting to create his unique sound. This practice carried well into his creation of full-length projects, with the "NAOMI" series perfectly depicting this. In 2021, he released the “Blank Canvas" and later that year, the love-themed “NAOMI." In the following year, he released “NAOMII." These projects were all released on his Audiomack. SHAUN encompasses the essence of a multifaceted artist; being a producer, writter, rapper, singer, and audio engineer. He has displayed this on his debut project, Brotzer, his collaborative project, La Milton Ta Shaun, and Bhozi Gang's Better Believe. SHAUN continues to hold experimentation close to his heart, delving into Boom bap, Trap and other genres or sub-genres when creating music.
