Laurenz who is known as Preymuse (born 2004 in Austria), is an electronic music producer who started posting songs on Youtube in 2016. His first official release on major music-platforms was the "Different World EP", an EP which he released in 2019. In March 2021, he released his first Synthwave track "Nitro", which got signed by the label Play Records. With a background in house and liquid Drum and Bass, Preymuse brought a fresh approach to the retro sound, delivering a driving, synth-laden work of music. After a break with Drum and Bass, his song "Lunar Dreams", released in February 2022, got signed by Swedish label Scan Records. With this song, Preymuse did a big comeback in the Drum and Bass scene. In 2023 Preymuse also went into a non-EDM and more experimental direction of music. With his EP "Obluda", which got released on Billegal Beats, it is clear that his style of sound design has changed alot in the last few years. Preymuse's meticulous attention to detail shines brightly in the intricate sound design, creating a celestial soundscape that oscillates between the realms of the familiar and the otherworldly.
